Israel war on Gaza live: Gaza City, Rafah bombed amid fears of regional war

• Hezbollah has released a new drone video it says shows sensitive Israeli sites, including military zones in the northern city of Haifa, as the fears grow of an all-out war between the two sides.
• Rescue workers struggle to pull out bodies buried under the rubble in northern Gaza a day after Israeli strikes killed at least 50 Palestinians across the devastated enclave. Israeli forces have continued attacks on Gaza, including Rafah in the south and Gaza City in the north.

• Netanyahu laments ‘dramatic drop’ in weapons deliveries from US

  Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said in an official statement published by his office that the US has given his country “support in spirit and material – with means of defence and means of attack” since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza.

  “But about four months ago, there was a dramatic drop in the supply of armaments arriving from the US to Israel,” he said.

  “For weeks, we asked our American friends to speed up the shipments. We did it time and time again. We did it at the highest levels, and at all levels, and I want to emphasise – we did it in private rooms. We got all sorts of explanations, but one thing we didn’t get: the basic situation didn’t change,” Netanyahu added.Netanyahu’s latest comments came as Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant flew to Washington for talks about the Gaza war.The White House has voiced frustration over the rising civilian death toll in Gaza. More than 37,000 Palestinians have been killed since October

Jordan sends 70 aid trucks to northern Gaza: Report

A Jordanian humanitarian aid convoy consisting of 70 trucks has entered northern Gaza Strip, according to Jordan’s Roya News digital newspaper.

The convoy carried essential food parcels, consumables, medical supplies, and medications, the report said, adding that it was sent by the Jordanian army and the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP).

The report quoted the head of JHCO, Hussein Al-Shibli, as saying that “all reports indicating that [Gaza] is nearing famine”.

He said Jordan has sent a total of 2,110 aid trucks and 53 planes since the beginning of Israel’s war on Gaza “in an attempt to alleviate and halt this tragic situation”.
