On Thursday, police arrested another person from Noakhali in connection with the rape of a young woman in a train on the way from Sylhet to Chittagong in Bangladesh. The police said that four people have been arrested for their involvement in the incident.

All the four arrested are employees of the train's catering service. The railway authorities have suspended the operation of the company in the train.

The company, however, said it would cooperate with legal action if its employees were found to be involved.

"A case has been filed in the police station. We will also file a case. If someone comRailway Eastern General Manager Mohammad Nazmul Islam told BBC Bangla that all measures were taken as soon as the incident came to light.

“The police are nabbing the accused. A case has been registered at the police station. We also took quick action. Such an incident is unprecedented in the railways," he said.
