India vs Pakistan, how is the military capability?

The tension between India and Pakistan has reached its peak in the attack on tourists in the Pahalgam region of Kashmir. Both countries have announced a number of reciprocal measures, including diplomatic expulsions and closure of airspace for flights.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced that his armed forces will be given "complete operational freedom" in response to the Pahalgam attack - so that they can independently determine the method, target and time of response to the Pahalgam attack.
On the other hand, Pakistan's information minister, citing intelligence information, says that India wants to take military action and that if it does so, "there will be a strong response."

According to that report, in 2025, India plans to spend the equivalent of about $86 billion on its defense sector, while Pakistan has allocated a little over $10 billion for its armed forces in the 2024-25 fiscal year.
India is ahead in terms of military strength. According to Global Firepower, India's total active troops are a little over 1.45 million, while Pakistan's number is a little over 650,000. India is also ahead in terms of reserve forces or paramilitary forces.
Is India ahead in terms of land power or Pakistan ahead
India is ahead in most areas in terms of land power. However, Pakistan is ahead in the number of automatic weapons, self-propelled artillery and mobile rocket projectors or rocket launchers. Pakistan's self-propelled artillery number is 662, while India's is 100. Pakistan has 600 mobile rocket projectors, India has 264.
India is ahead in terms of numbers in several other areas. India has 4,201 tanks, 148,594 armoured vehicles, and 3,975 towed artillery. Pakistan has 2,627 tanks, 17,516 armoured vehicles, and 2,629 towed artillery.
India ahead in naval warships
India is ahead of Pakistan in all aspects of naval warships except mine warfare.
According to Global Firepower, the Indian Navy's total 293 warships include two aircraft carriers, 13 destroyers, 14 frigates, 18 submarines, 18 corvettes and 135 patrol vessels.
The Pakistani Navy's total 121 warships do not include aircraft carriers or destroyers. They have nine frigates, eight submarines, nine corvettes, and 69 patrol vessels.

Air Power
The Indian Air Force has 31 squadrons, each with 17 to 18 fighter jets. On the other hand, the Pakistan Air Force has 11 squadrons.
According to Global Firepower, India has a total of 2,229 aircraft, while Pakistan has 1,399.
Pakistan has 418 fighter jets - 90 of which are bombers. On the other hand, India has 643 fighter jets, 130 of which are bombers.
