Argentina found their quarter-final opponents, with Brazil still waiting to advance

 Five days after confirming the quarter-finals in the Copa America, Argentina found an opponent. Lionel Messi's team will play against Ecuador in the fight to reach the semi-finals. The match will be played in Houston, Texas at 7 am Bangladesh time on July 5.

Argentina have secured their quarter-final opponents, but Brazil are still waiting to reach the last eight. Brazil, who have collected 4 points in the first two matches, will play against Colombia in the last match of the group on Wednesday.

Ecuador has been the opponent of Argentina as the runner-up in the 'B' group. Ecuador drew goalless with Mexico in their last match in the group today. In this, Mexico-Ecuador's points are equal to 4, but the Latin American country leads the goal difference (+1) and is second in the group. In the other match of the same group, Jamaica was defeated by Venezuela 3-0. Having confirmed the quarter-finals earlier, Venezuela has got Canada in the last eight as the group leader with 9 points. The winner of the Venezuela-Canada match on July 6 will play in the semi-finals against the winner of Argentina-Ecuador.


All the matches of 'A' and 'B' groups are over and the quarter-finals have been settled, but the last matches of 'C' and 'D' groups are still left. USA-Uruguay and Bolivia-Panama will play tomorrow in 'C' group matches. All three teams except Bolivia are still in the running for the quarter-finals. Uruguay has 6 points, USA and Panama have 3 each.

Group 'D' match will be on Wednesday morning Bangladesh time. Where Brazil's opponent is Colombia, Paraguay's opponent is Costa Rica. Paraguay has already been knocked out of this group. Colombia is at the top with 6 points, Brazil is second with 4 points and Costa Rica is third with 1 point.
